Better Than She Ever Could

Ricky (Codey Steele) is grieving after the recent death of his wife, Emily. He’s still in shock as he tries to cope with the loss while also raising their little one, Chloe, on his own. At least he has the help of his parent-in-law, Paula (Dana Vespoli), who has been invaluable since the loss. That day, Ricky is getting ready for a job interview to prepare a better life for him and Chloe when Paula stops by. She is sympathetic and motherly as she helps him get ready for the interview by bringing him a casserole and ironing his shirt.
